A. E. "Peanut" Brock, 68, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, August 8, 2011 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Stapleton officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Mr. Brock was born January 16, 1943 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Homer Anderson Brock and Lottie Harris Brock. He was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, a member of the VFW Post 4904, and the American Legion Post 62. Mr. Brock served in the United States Army and was the owner and operator of Brock's Tree of Treasures. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Diane White Brock of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Alton Brock and his wife, Jennifer, of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter, Kim Brock of Palm Harbor, FL; his brothers, Brady Brock of Moultrie, GA, Howard Brock of Bainbridge, GA, Joe Brock of Leesburg, GA, Ronald Brock of Sylvester, GA and Donald Brock of Sylvester, GA; his sister, Molly Young of Murfreesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Brock and Andrew Brock; and his dog, Molly Brock.
