Mrs. Abbie R. Hatton, 79, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne McDonald and Mr. Daniel Tomlinson officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery near Donalsonville, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. She was a dedicated homemaker and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Glenn Hatton and his wife, Linda, of Donalsonville, GA and Donald Hatton and his companion, David Elder, of Atlanta, GA; her daughter, Gail Tomlinson and her husband, Keith, of Brinson, GA; her brother, J. W. Moat and his wife, Grace, of Cairo, GA; and her granddaughter, Melissa Williamson and her husband, Timmy, of Bainbridge, GA.
