Mr. Adolph Brock, Jr., 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen L. Webb and Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Scott Mitchell, Stanley Mitchell, Winston Brock, Jr., Stanley Harrell, Lloyd Brock, and J. R. Lambert serving as active pallbearers. Pleasant High School in 1944 and was the retired manager of Suburban Propane Co. He was a member of Orion Lodge # 8 F. & A. M., Bainbridge Shrine Club, Hasan Shrine Temple, and attended First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Frances Register Brock of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Steve Brock and wife Nancy of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Pam Searcy and husband Bill, and Kim Bowles and husband Charles, all of Bainbridge, GA; a brother, Winston Brock and wife Patsy of Bainbridge, GA; two sisters, Barbara B. Mitchell of Bainbridge, GA and Carolyn Groover of Clearwater, FL; six grandchildren, Brock Searcy, Sara Searcy, Meredith Brock, Lauren Bowles, Anna Beth Bowles, and Simpson Bowles; and a great-granddaughter, Allison Scott.
