Agnes Brock

Agnes Louise Brock, age 73, of Climax, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, surrounded by her family. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel.  A private burial will be at Brock Cemetery.  Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Agnes was born September 11,1949 in Bainbridge, Georgia - the daughter of Herbert Johnson and Dorothy Johnson. She was known to some as the "Tree work Queen," as she spent most of her days working with her late husband, Danny and continued that legacy with her son, Chris. Strong, hardworking and supportive - "Aggie Baby" was the glue. She loved to read, fish, and spend time with her family and her dog, Tater. Always offering a different perspective - take it or leave it - and taking full advantage of the "food brings people together" rule - she was all about "all of her kids." Survivors include her children, Chris Brock of Climax, GA, Becky Brock of Leesburg, GA, and Carla Johnson Dean (Jere) of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Jessica White, Courtney Brown, Autumn Brock, and Megan Wagener; great-grandchildren, Kristin Bennett, Kaitlyn Bennett, Drew White, Brendon White, and Riley Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Brock; her parents; and siblings, Earl Johnson, Carl Johnson, Roger Johnson, and Edith Tomicich. The Brock family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
