Agnes L. Conner, 93, of Brinson, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Matthews and Rev. Wayne McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with her grandsons, Mark Conner, Todd Murkerson, Mickey Conner, Johnny Conner, Adam Boyett, and Jared Brown serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2012, prior to the funeral service at Bethany Baptist Church. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Conner was born April 19, 1919 in Hartford, AL, the daughter of Alto Alec Skinner and Willie Frances Sizemore Skinner. She was a dedicated homemaker and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Jimmie Lee Brown and her husband, Dale, of Columbus, GA and Pam Murkerson and her husband, Ray, of Donalsonville, GA; her daughter-in-law, Joyce Conner; her 7 grandchildren, Karen Wright and her husband, Tommy, David Brown and his wife, Darlene, Mark Conner, Mickey Conner and his wife, Lori, Johnny Conner and his wife, Crystal, Ted Murkerson, and Todd Murkerson and his wife, Ann; her 13 great-grandchildren, Brooke, Chastity, Haley, Brandon, Justin, Kelsey, Dillian, Chelsea, Brett, Dylan, Jared, Megan, and Erica; and her 6 great-great-grandchildren, Conner, Karmyn, Madison, McKenna, Lyla, and Christian. Mrs. Conner was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, James B. Conner; her son, Bud Conner; her infant daughter, Marcia Yvonne Conner; and her one sister and 4 brothers.
