Agnes Singleton

Mrs. Agnes Harrell Singleton, 90, passed away Monday, January 29, 2007 at her residence in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at West Bainbridge Baptist Church in Bainbridge, GA with Rev. Danny Vun Cannon and Rev. Ted Tomlinson officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with John Grimsley, III, Edward Moore, Tommy Lashley, Randall Williams, Dick Ivey, and Dale Heard serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Singleton was born September 24, 1916 in Decatur County, GA, the daughter of Carlos V. Harrell and Eva Maude Mills Harrell. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1936 and was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Sue S. Dooling and husband Jerry of Bainbridge, GA, and Betty S. Howell and husband James of Milledgeville, GA; a son, Charles Singleton and wife Mary of Pavo, GA; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
