Albert Josey

Albert Josey, 77, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Delwood Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Lindsay Gay officiating. Interment will follow at Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Jimmy Pollock, Treavor Pollock, Ricky Smith, Mark Davis, Alan Davis, and J. E. Foister serving as active pallbearers. Mr. Josey was born September 8, 1932 in Brinson, GA, the son of Joe Josey and Bertha Murkerson Josey. He served in the U. S. Army and was a farmer. Mr. Josey was preceded in death by his sisters, Annie Murl Barber and Catherine Muliford. Survivors include his wife, Clara Jean Pollock Josey of Bainbridge, GA; his sons, Al Josey of Yorba Linda, CA, Brian Josey and his wife LuAnne of Garden Grove, CA and Wade Josey of Escondido, CA; his daughters, Kay Josey Wilson and her husband Brian of Corona, CA and Linda Josey of Long Beach, CA; his grandchildren, Brianna Josey, Walker Josey, Kristen Wilson, Kevin Josey, Garrett Wilson and Alex Josey.
