Alice Valenti Rice, 86, of Bainbridge, GA, formerly of Tampa, FL, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019. A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Tampa, FL. Alice Jane Valenti was born December 31, 1932 in Tampa, FL, the daughter of Andrea and Giovaninna Carocello Valenti. Alice retired from the Florida Department of Labor. She moved to Bainbridge in 2013 and was Christian by faith. Dressed to the nines, Alice radiated class and elegance. She held her head high and persevered through trials always saying, "Ask yourself: Is it really that important?" Alice loved games and her competitive spirit took things to a new level especially at the bowling alley and the card table. Survivors include her sons, Marc Rice and his wife, Brenda, of Mexico Beach, FL and Jeff Rice of Bella Vista, AR; her grandchildren, Zach Rice and Allie & Lance Godwin; and her great-grandchildren, Riggs, Coyt and Kessler. Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
