Alice Sherred

Mrs. Alice Sherred died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Grady General Hospital. A private family service will be held at a later date. Alice Audrey Barstow was born March 27, 1924 in Union City, Pennsylvania to Leon and Bernice Holland Barstow. She married Ronald Albert Sherred; who preceded her in death. Mrs. Sherred lived in Florida many, many years before moving to Cairo, Georgia. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Our Father's House. Alice Sherred is survived by her children: Charles E. Sherred and wife, Yvette, of Cairo, Georgia; Ronald Sherred and wife, Linda, of Pennsylvania; and Rebecca S. Potts and husband, William, of Lynn Haven, Florida. Alice has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
