Mrs. Allee Boyett Duncan, 77, of Bainbridge, GA passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Tuvell and Rev. Steve Poppell officiating. Interment will follow at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. Mrs. Duncan was born January 30, 1930 in Decatur County, GA, to the late James Clarence Boyett and Mettie Lou Moore Boyett. She graduated from Climax High School, worked for Jack Winter, Inc., and was a sales clerk for Patti-Lyn's and Ashlyn's. She was a member of Advent Christian Church in Climax, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherwood Duncan. Survivors include her daughter, Robbie D. Brock and husband James of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Franklin Boyett of Climax, GA, and James "Pete" Dezerne of Tallahassee, FL; two sisters, Juanita Humphrey of Climax, GA and Florence Gillespie of Attapulgus, GA; two granddaughters, Brittney Mathews and husband Roy, and Kelli Dickson and husband Tru, all of Bainbridge, GA; and two great-grandchildren, Ramsey Mathews and Allee Grace Dickson, both of Bainbridge, GA.
