It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Alma Pearl Hart, age 91, on August 12, 2025.
She was born on June 2, 1934, in Climax, Ga, to Paul and Rose McGlamery. Alma lived a wondrous life, full of grace, kindness and love. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Alma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Richard Hart, who, together, shared 44 years of marriage. Alma is survived by her children, Bret Hart of Tallahassee, FL and Suzi Morris of Thomasville, GA, and grandchildren, Kenneth Hart, Eric Hart, Ryan Morris and Benjamin Cole Morris, along with five great-grandchildren.
Alma Hart retired from the city of Climax, Ga after 25 years as the City Clerk. She was a member of the Climax Community club, and loved participating in the annual Swine Time festival, and Grand Ole Opry, along with multiple fundraising activities supporting the Climax community.
Services will be held on August 23rd at Climax Baptist Church with a visitation at 10am and funeral service at 11am. The Rev. Jim Weaver will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
