Alvin Musser

Alvin G. Musser, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, February 1, 2008 at his residence. A private memorial service will be at Sunday, February 3, 2008 with Reverend Andy Hughes officiating. Interment will be in Poe's Cemetery in Newberg Township, MI. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at his residence, 2302 Twin Lakes Drive, Bainbridge, GA. Mr. Musser was born March 25, 1927 in St. Joseph County, MI, the son of Arthur Roy Musser and Verna Mae Weston Musser. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Husbandry from Michigan State University, he served with the United States Army as an M.P. in Italy during World War II, and enjoyed golf, gardening and woodworking. He retired in 1991 as general sales manager with Consolidated Minerals, Inc. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nancy G. Musser of Bainbridge, GA; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen M. and Tim Beard of Tallahassee, FL; one son and daughter-in-law, A. Dale and Anne Musser of Middleton, MD; three sisters, Lucile Root of Niles, MI; Dorothy Miles of Shreveport, LA and Janet Sexton of Connersville, IN; and three grandchildren, Chelsea Musser, Jack Beard and Ava Beard.
