Anice Weekley

Anice M. Weekley, age 85, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019, at Camilla Gardens of Life, Thomasville, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Weekley will be held graveside, Wednesday, July 24, 2019, 2:30 pm, at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Cemetery, Miami, Florida, where she will be interred with her late husband, Joseph F. Weekley. Anice Mizell Willis was born September 11, 1933, in St. George, Georgia. Her parents, Edward W. Willis, Sr. and Bernice Mizell Willis have preceded her in death. She married Joseph F. Weekley. She and Joseph were married for 52 years before his passing in 2003. Anice and her husband were self-employed real estate appraisers. They moved from the Miami area to the Lake Seminole/Reynoldsville. Georgia area in the 1980s. Mrs. Weekley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Bobby Joe Vickers of Donalsonville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, David and Stephanie Weekley of Smithville, North Carolina; brother, Edward W. Willis, Jr. and wife, Jeanne of Donalsonville; 8 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, James W. Weekley.
