Anne Grumbles

Anne Williams Grumbles, wife of the late George Robert Grumbles, entered into rest on November 11, 2016.  She was born in Sumter SC and spent most of her life in Bainbridge GA.  Following the death of her husband in 2012, she relocated to Augusta GA.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Augusta, as a member of the Grace Sunday school class, the Bereavement Ministry, and the Benevolence Ministry's food bank. Anne is preceded in death by her parents, Harold O and Ivy Nell Owens Williams, and her sister, Terrie Williams Gainey (LaRue), all of Sumter SC.  She is survived by her son Glenn Grumbles (Su Mi) of Tucson AZ; her daughter Stormy Grumbles Bradshaw (Dan) of Augusta GA; grandchildren Brandon Grumbles (Jan) of Seattle WA, Justin, Robin, Collin and Sharon Grumbles of Tucson AZ, and Ivy Anne Bradshaw of Augusta GA; brother Ronald Williams (Ria) of Columbia SC; sisters-in-law Alice Grumbles Wallace (Chuck) of Gilbert SC and Helen Grumbles Thomas (Albert) of Lexington SC, and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be held at a later date in Sumter SC with family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way Ext, Augusta GA 30909, with a notation for the Benevolence Fund.
