Anne Maxwell

Anne Maxwell, 86, of Iron City, GA, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Maxwell was born May 12, 1929 in Cuthbert, GA, the daughter of Clarence Greene and Effie Grubbs Greene. She worked as a seamstress for many years and loved to spend her time reading. Mrs. Maxwell had a passion for flowers and enjoyed her family and pets. Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl M. Cutts of Iron City; her grandchildren, Cherie Cutts-Owens and her husband, Lance, and Kimberly Cutts-Montgomery; her great- grandchildren, Skylar Corbin, Holden Owens. and Allie Rae Montgomery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Carlton Maxwell.
