Mrs. Annie E. Griner, 84, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Bethany Baptist Church near Brinson, GA with Rev. Tommy Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Griner, Clay Griner, Cecil Griner, Skyler Willis, Wayne Willis, and Everette Pearce serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Griner was born September 15, 1922 in Decatur County, GA, to the late William Henry Wilson and Mary Burke Wilson. She graduated from West Bainbridge High School, was a retired machine operator with ITT United Plastics, and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Griner. Survivors include three sons, H. L. Griner of Brinson, GA, Larry Griner of Oklahoma City, OK, and DeWayne Griner of Bainbridge, GA; a brother, Lewis Wilson of Bainbridge, GA; a sister, Betty Butler of Donalsonville, GA; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
