Annie Jones

Annie M. Jones, 77, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, April 7, 2008 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Sylvania Cemetery with Chaplain Aaron Edenfield officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Jones was born December 5, 1930 in Dalton, GA, the daughter of Albert V. Shipman and Beatrice Peak Shipman. She worked with Havatampa Cigar Company and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her son Hubert L. Mincey. Survivors include her husband, John L. Jones of Recovery Community, Bainbridge, GA, two sons, William C. Mincey of Tampa, FL and David L. Jones of Plant City, FL; three daughters, Janie Edenfield of Grand Ridge, FL, Shirley Gomes of Tampa, FL and Cynthia Mayle of Zephyrhills, FL; three brother, Relman Shipman, Floyd Shipman and David Shipman, all of Dalton, GA; four sisters, Bonnie Hights, Frances Powell, Linda Brown and Margie Mathis, all of Dalton, GA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
