Anthony Wayne McBride, 74, of Bainbridge, passed away Monday July 2, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery with the United States Air Force providing full military honors. Mr. McBride was born on August 17, 1932 to the late George Buchannan McBride and Ruthie Davidson McBride in New Baden, TX. He was TSGT in the U.S.A.F. for 23 years, and was also a U.S. Postal carrier. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Yolanda McBride. Survivors include his wife, Jean Tucker McBride of Bainbridge, GA; nine daughters; Kim Roberts of Charolette, N.C., Julie Jessell of Cocoa, FL, Beverly Powell of Stuart, FL, Melodie Stafford of Statesville, NC, Peggy T. Wacaser of Boerne, TX, Wanda T. Pinkard of Panama City, FL, Charlotte T. Fleming, Kathy Tucker, and Jill Alvarez, all of Bainbridge, GA; a brother, Donald McBride of New Baden, TX; a sister, Auta Lockie of Austin, TX; seventeen grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren
