Anthony Stacey

Anthony Mitchell Stacey, age 45, of Donalsonville, Georgia, passed away on April 23, 2024 at his home. A private family service will be held at a later date. Mitch was born on February 27, 1979 in East Liverpool, Ohio. He was a hard worker and was most recently a welder at Bennett’s Welding. He grew up in Decatur County where he loved to fish and hunt. He could often be found on the softball field playing one of his favorite sports. Mitch was a kind young man and loved helping people. He would do anything for anyone who needed his help. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Mitch is survived by his daughters, Jade Stacey of Athens, Georgia and Eden Stacey of Bainbridge, Georgia, his mother, Sue Gillespie of Brinson, and his father, Patrick Gillespie of Attapulgus, Georgia. He is also survived by his sisters, Jennifer Lusk (Ezra) of Cartersville, Georgia and Kristen Hardeman (Gaylen) of Grovetown, Georgia as well as his nephews, Hayden Lusk and Hudson Lusk and his nieces, Ella Hardeman and Evie Hardeman. He is also survived by his grandmother, Peggy Wade of Attapulgus and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
