Ava Lee Clark Walley, 91, of Albany, GA, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will be held at West Bainbridge Cemetery.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.Ava Lee Clark was born November 25, 1925 in Donalsonville, GA, the daughter of Robert Joshua Clark and Berta Mae Howard. She lived most of her life in southwest Georgia. She married Charles Franklin Walley in November of 1976. Ava worked at ITT for a number of years.Ava loved the outdoors. She spent her days working in her yard, growing the most beautiful flowers, and fishing. Ava always made sure there was a little dash of red, her favorite color, in her flower beds. She was a great cook and always had a warm pound cake waiting for you on the counter.Survivors include her son, Larry Williams and his wife, Jo, of Albany, GA; her granddaughter, Georgianna Williams; and her siblings, Bobby J. Clark of Louisiana, Betty Ward of Bainbridge and Johnnie Screws of Tallahassee. Ava was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Franklin Walley; and her siblings, Ida Mae Clark Herbert, Clara Starling and Margie Rowland.
