Barbara Ragan Rasmussen, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Brett Ellinburg and Dr. Carl Garnett officiating, and will conclude at the church. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home. Box 1525, Bainbridge, GA 39818.Bobbie was born June 29, 1935 in Beachton, GA, the daughter of Eddie Ross Ragan and Evelyn Kinchen Ragan. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church and the Lydia Sunday School Class, which she taught for many years. She was a Past President of the Florida Federation of Women for Responsible Legislation. Survivors include her husband of almost 62 years, Norman O. Rasmussen of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Sharon R. Olvera of Tallahassee, FL; her sons, Kenny Rasmussen of Bainbridge, GA, Norman Rasmussen, Jr. of Pearland, TX, and Steve Rasmussen of Houston, TX; her granddaughter, Becky Bardin and her husband, Steve, of Bainbridge, GA; and her great-grandchildren, Drew Bardin and Ben Bardin.
