Bennie Lee Wester, Jr., 49, of Satsuma, FL passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in Putnam County, FL. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Ben was born December 4, 1960 in Jacksonville, FL, was a graduate of N. Jacksonville Academy and Florida Community College, and was an automobile mechanic. He loved fishing and shrimping and was very active with a group that flew model airplanes. Survivors include his parents, Bennie Lee Wester and Bettye Batchelor Wester of Bainbridge, GA; his brother, Bill Wester of Satsuma, FL; his sister, Janet W. Butler and her husband Keith of Glen St. Mary, FL; a nephew, Brian Butler; and a niece, Lauren Butler.
