Bernice Trotman

Bernice Louise Trotman, age 66, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Bainbridge Healthcare and Rehab. Services for Ms. Trotman will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. Marty Brock and Mr. Kevin Dowdy officiating. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Bernice was born in Bainbridge, Georgia to Johnny Combast and Leila Hutto Combast. She was a faithful member of Open Arms Ministry. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. She worked many years in the retail business and enjoyed it because she enjoyed being with people. Bernice was a humble, sweet, loving person and will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. Ms. Trotman is survived by her son, John Darrell Trotman; her grandchildren, Tylan Trotman and Katie Tindell: her great-grandchild, Kyle Willeby; her siblings, Joe Combast, Thelma Hand (Larry), and Paul Combast (Cindy) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special cousin, Patricia Shepard, and special friend, Bruce Hill, as well as many special friends for whom she was thankful for their love, help and support. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Lewis Combast, Johnny Combast, Linwood Combast as well as her niece, Denise Combast.
