Beth Hatcher

Ms. Beth Hatcher, 57, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2007 at First Christian Church with Minister Jeff Stapleton officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Beth was born November 3, 1949 in Bainbridge, GA. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1967, and received her B.S. in Education from Valdosta State College, and her M.S. and Ed. S. in Education from Troy State University. She was a retired 4th grade teacher from Jones-Wheat Elementary School and a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Cleveland Hatcher. Survivors include her father, Guy V. Hatcher; her brother, Bill Hatcher; her sister, Susan H. Carey; two nephews, Billy Hatcher and wife Brandi, and Robert Carey; and a great-niece, Alex Hatcher, all of Bainbridge, GA.
