Betty Collins

Betty Ann Collins, age 72, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Memorial Hospital, Bainbridge, Georgia. Per Betty's request, she will be cremated with no formal service. Betty Ann Collins was born in Kinard, Florida, December 11, 1946. Her parents, Frank Pitts and Bertha Prescott Pitts, have preceded her in death. Betty married Sammy Daniel (Danny) Collins, who has also preceded her in death. Betty liked to travel and loved butterflies. You could always depend on her. Betty had a great sense of humor and dearly enjoyed her grandchildren. Betty will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Betty Ann Collins is survived by her children, Daniel Collins and wife, Tiffany of Avondale, Arizona, and Audrey McGlamery of Bainbridge; brothers, Houston Pitts and wife, Betty of Panama City, Florida, Robert Earl (Pete) Pitts and wife, Aileen of Troy, Alabama, and Wayne Pitts of Wewahitchka, Florida; and sisters, Annette Porter of Wewahitchka, Elisa Tillery of Wewahitchka, and Ellen Kellar and husband, Hank of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Tyler McGlamery, Taylor McGlamery, Elizabeth Collins, Tucker Collins, and Danny Collins; and great grandchild, Remington Blake Lewis.
