Betty Hardy

Betty Jean Hardy, age 88, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Bainbridge Health and Rehab, in Bainbridge, Georgia. A graveside service will be held later, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in Summerdale, Alabama. Betty Jean Hardy was born May 14, 1933, in Mound City, Illinois, to Charles DeVore and Louise Monan DeVore. Betty, a caring homemaker and loving mother, is survived by her children, James Taylor, Jr., Sherma Taylor and Marvin J. Taylor. She has a brother, Robert, and sisters, Alice and Charlotte. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, son, David Taylor, and brother, Aubrey DeVore. Ms. Hardy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
