Ms. Betty Sue Swain Jackson, 77, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charles Stephens and Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida with Rev. Carl Thompson officiating. Mrs. Jackson was born on September 25, 1929 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Andrew Jackson "John" Swain and Sara Frances Duke Swain. Formerly of Ocala, Fl, she was a retired owner/operator of Ocala Paint Center, and attended the Harvest Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James F. Jackson. Survivors include a son Ronald Fredric Jackson of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter Nanette Simpson of Wellington, FL; a sister Barbara S. Toole of Chattahoochee, FL; and two grandchildren Benjamin Plancarté and Brilyn Plancarté.
