Betty Jane Strickland Jones, age 62, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2:30 p.m., at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Bostick will officiate. In accordance with State of Georgia guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing and to wear protective masks. Betty Jane Strickland was born September 14, 1958 to Edward Alto and Betty Louise Parnell Strickland. She graduated from Bainbridge High School. Betty Jane was a member of Solid Rock Church. She loved her church and loved to sing gospel songs. Her favorite Bible verse was, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Betty Jane dearly loved her sons and her siblings. She will be deeply missed. Betty Jane is survived by her children, Matthew Lawrence McCaslin of London, Kentucky and Joseph Daniel McCaslin of Henderson, Kentucky; brothers and sisters, Susan Lane of Donalsonville, Georgia, Edward Alto "Bo" Strickland of Bainbridge, John Strickland and wife Diane of Bainbridge, Robert Strickland and wife Lyn of Colquitt, Ga., and Katie Decker of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregivers, Stephanie and Walter Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Darline West. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, P. O.
