Betty Godfrey Kelley, 87, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at West Bainbridge Baptist Church with Rev. Danny VunCannon, Rev. Robert Johns, and Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Joe Brock, Jr., Derry Cannon, Mark Cannon, Tad Kelley, Will Kelley, Homer Harrell, Clint Kelley, Sam Holton, Greg Cox, Drew Kelley, Chandler Kuck, Jeff Enfinger, and Chad Kuck serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Memorials may be made to West Bainbridge Baptist Church, P.O. Box 356, Bainbridge, GA 39818. Mrs. Kelley was born June 12, 1924 in Columbus, GA, the daughter of Andrew J. Godfrey and Mabel Ferrell Godfrey. She was a graduate of Seminole County High School and a retired supervisor for ITT United Plastics. She was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Dan Kelley and his wife, Edwina, of Camilla, GA, Larry Kelley and his wife, Phyllis, of Bainbridge, GA, and Al Kelley and his wife, Janie, of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Donna Brock and her husband, Joe, of Leesburg, GA and Denise Cannon and her husband, Darius, of Bainbridge, GA; her 11 grandchildren; and her 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Coker Kelley; her granddaughter, Alicia Kelley; her brothers, A. J. Godfrey and Al Godfrey; and her sisters, Rita Dick and Henri Mabel Craig.
