Mrs. Beverly Patterson Harvey, 80, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 at her residence in Jakin, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Kirk Loyless and Rev. Eric Boomer officiating. Interment will follow at Harvey Cemetery in Jakin, G with Tony Avery, Mac Cannon, Henry Cannon, Brett Cannon, Loyal Hartman, and Tim Enos serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the Harvey home, 5132 J. Q. Harvey/River Rd., Jakin, GA. She graduated from Dothan High School, was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church, a homemaker, and a volunteer for the Seminole Boys Group Home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Q. Harvey and a brother, Charles William Patterson. Survivors include two sons, Joey Harvey and wife Angela of Jakin, GA, and Charles Harvey of Jakin, GA; and three sisters, Beryl P. Holland and husband Mason of Columbus, GA, Mary Virginia P. Beauchamp and husband Dick of Headland, AL, and Jan P. Whatley and husband Jim of Pensacola, FL.
