Billie Whiddon

Billie L. Whiddon, 81, of Chattahoochee, FL, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Signature HealthCare at the Courtyard in Marianna, FL. The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Recovery United Methodist Church with Pastor Charlie Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery. Ms. Whiddon was born November 5, 1931 in Decatur County, GA, the daughter of Billy Whiddon and Mamie Andrews Whiddon. She retired as a bookkeeper for the Florida State Hospital. Ms. Whiddon was an advocate of the Humane Society and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her sister, Margaret L. Johns of Recovery, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Whiddon, Bertie Howell, and Hortense Renfroe.
