Billy Bush

Billy Bush, 78, of Brinson, GA, passed away Friday, December 11, 2009 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce McCracken officiating. Interment will follow at Brinson Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the U. S. Air Force Honor Guard. Billy was born March 24, 1931 in Belle Glade, FL, the son of John Henry Bush and Nettie Kirkland Bush. He was a graduate of Brinson High School, Class of 1950. After serving in the U. S. Army in the Korean War, he joined the U. S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He retired as a Tech Sergeant with 21 years of service. He attended Pine Forest Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister, Elise B. Gill of Clarksville, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
