Bobbie Jean Owens, 55, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, January 18, 2016.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.Bobbie Jean was born October 30, 1960 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Alvin Owens, Jr. and Johnnie Elaine Hollingsworth Owens. She lived most of her life in Decatur County and attended House of Victory Church. Bobbie Jean loved people. She had a big heart and would give away her last dollar to someone in need. She was a great cook and especially enjoyed baking cakes and pies to share when she visited with friends and family. Playing with her grandchildren brought joy to her life.Survivors include her children, Roy Myrick, Brian Myrick, Vickie Jones and her husband, David, and Jamie Myrick and her husband, Evencio Hernandez, all of Bainbridge, GA; her siblings, Becky Owens, Ruby Cook, Joyce Blair, Jimmie Glisson, and Angel Stevens, all of Bainbridge, GA; and twelve grandchildren. Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by her parents.
