Bainbridge, GA Bobby Gene Barfield Bobby Gene Barfield, 71, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away on Saturday, November 20th, at Memorial Hospital. Bobby was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on October 8, 1939, a son of the late Ester Nix and Elvin B. Barfield. He is retired from the U.S. Coast Guard. Mr. Barfield is survived by his children: Bobby Gene Barfield, Jr and wife, Jeanette, of Bainbridge; Terrie Lynn Kelley and husband, Bill, of Fort Gaines, Georgia; Wanda Denise Sullivan and husband, Jeffery Sullivan, of Quincy, Florida; Brandee Jean Barfield of Bainbridge, Georgia; stepchildren: Kimberly Ann Whitley, Thomas Whitley, III, Morgan Rooster Hunt and wife, Margaret Hunt, all of Dothan, Alabama, Mary Elizabeth Heinle of Oak Harbor, Washington; sisters and brothers: Marie Humphries of Ochlocknee, Georgia, Alice Chastain of Whigham, Georgia, Lamon Barfield of Pelham, Georgia, and Cecil Barfield of Grady County, Georgia., 16 1/2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchiuldren. Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, Bainbridge, Georgia, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26th, with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. The family will receive friends, 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Cox-Ware Funeral Home.
