Bobby Brock

Mr. Bobby Eugene Brock, age 65, of Climax, Georgia, passed away very early on Tuesday morning, September 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Services for Mr. Brock will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, 2:00 pm, at Salem Baptist Church, 1160 Salem Church Road, Climax, Ga. The Rev. Ryan Zearing and Pastor Jack Johnson will officiate. Chris Cumbie, Dylan Brock, Taylor Cumbie, Corey Atkinson, Jerid Cumbie, Justin Downing, and Griffin Long will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Brock Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 6:00 - 8:00 pm, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox - Ivey Funeral Home.

Bobby Eugene Brock was born September 15, 1959, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Eugene Brock and Verlyn Darley Brock. On May 7, 1977, he married the love of his life, Tammie Kelly Brock. Bobby loved to work and was proud to be a semi driver. He started working before he became a teenager. He was generous and kind. Bobby dearly loved and cared for his family. He enjoyed cutting his grass and kept an emmaculate yard. Fishing and playing with his grandchildren brought him great joy. Mr. Brock was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Bobby Eugene Brock is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tammie Kelly Brock; Brad Brock (Susan) of Jakin, Georgia and Kelly Brock Eakin (Brad) of Climax, Georgia; siblings, Kathi Thorpe (Donald), Darryl Brock (Rene) , Shannon Brock (Tina), all of Climax, and Tana Brock Johnson (Jack) of Stoneville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Dakota Eakin (Albren) and Marissa Eakin of Climax; great-grandchildren, Brinlee Eakin; bonus grandchildren, Chris Proctor, Ashley Proctor, Kayla Proctor, Sabrina Proctor, and Deshawna Proctor, all of Jakin, Georgia, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Verlyn Brock and nephews, Stacey Cumbie and Jessie David Johnson.
