Bobby Goodwin

Bobby Daryl Goodwin, 46, of Brinson, GA, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Chad Braswell, Gary Braswell, Mitchell Comerford, Tony McElroy, Joe Barber, and Dooly Powell serving as active pallbearers. Daryl was born September 8, 1962 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Bobby Goodwin and Jeaneva McDowell Goodwin. He was a graduate of Dougherty High School, Class of 1980. Daryl was a maintenance supervisor for Memorial Hospital and Manor and of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeaneva McDowell Goodwin, and his brother, Stacey Goodwin. Survivors include his son, Jason Goodwin of Leesburg, GA; his daughter, Heather Goodwin Yocum of Leesburg, GA; his father, Bobby Goodwin of Brinson, GA; two grandchildren, Noah Yocum and Elizabeth Yocum; and his significant other, Kim McElroy of Brinson, GA.
