Mr. Bobby J. Vickers, age 66, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 31, 2026, in Donalsonville Hospital, Donalsonville, Georgia. The family will hold a Celebration of Life; time and date will be announced.

Bobby J. Vickers was born March 19, 1960, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Hatcher Vickers and Betty Jo McMillian Vickers. He married his soul mate, Cheryl A. Weekley Vickers. They have shared life together for over 40 years. Bobby grew up in Decatur County, Georgia. He started helping on the farm by driving the farm vehicles at 12 years of age. He just died at age 66 and drove a semi up until 2 weeks ago. He has been long-haul-trucking for 52 years. He and Cheryl worked for Hobby Lobby the past decade. They worked as a team and trucked all over the country. Fishing was his enjoyment. He knew every good fishing hole on Lake Seminole and the Flint River. He loved to go deep sea fishing also. His passion was collecting bourbon. His heart was his children and grandchildren. He adored them and loved to be with them. Bobby will be sorely missed and always remembered.

Bobby J. Vickers is survived by his wife, Cheryl A. Weekley Vickers; children, William Cody Vickers (Jennifer) of Diana, Texas, Aaron Michael Vickers (Candace) of Thomasville, Georgia, Megan Anice Vickers of Panama City, Florida, and Salvador Barragan (Lesly) of Panama City, Florida; his siblings, Elizabeth Snellgrove (Alan) of Ashford, Alabama, Sharon Hoefle (Rick) of Ozark, Alabama, Jackie Vickers of Donalsonville, Georgia, Betty Frances Diaz of Charlotte, North Carolina, Alicia Hadley (Jay ) of Donalsonville, and Edna Davis of Bainbridge, Georgia; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Harold Vickers, Doug Vickers, Julie West, Pearl Cook, Earl Vickers, and Sandra Cook.
