Ms. Bonnie Lee Sellars Flanery, age 81, of Cairo, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018, in Thomasville, Georgia. As per Bonnie's request, there will be no public service. Bonnie Lee Sellars was born December 23, 1936, in Cairo, Georgia, to Jimmie E. Sellars and Maggie Lee Strickland Sellars. Bonnie lived in Youngstown, Ohio most of her adult life. She worked as a dietician at Northside Hospital. About 16 years ago, she retired and moved back to Cairo. Bonnie loved to travel. She loved to read and assemble jigsaw puzzles. Having a green thumb, she enjoyed working in her flowers. Bonnie Flanery will be deeply missed by the family she loved so very much and her many friends. Bonnie Flanery is survived by her children, Joan Withrow of Cairo, Michael Flanery of Las Vegas, Nevada, Keith Flanery of Las Vegas, and Karen Marshall of Youngstown, Ohio; siblings, Bernice Cook, Ronald Sellars, and Jeanette Turner, all of Cairo; 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
