Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Inez Brooks Holley, 64, of Ozark, AL will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery with Michael Metcalf, Fred Walker, Jackie Vickers, Dale Ellis, Howard Bradshaw and Jonathan Cunningham serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Holley was born in Decatur County, April 22, 1944 to the now late Harmon Jackson and Ethel Mae Brooks. She lived in Decatur County most of her life but had lived in Alabama the past four years. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene Church and had worked for T.G. & Y. and Elmore's. Mrs. Holley loved her family, especially her grandchildren, puppies, dolphins, and working for the public. She passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009 at her residence in Ozark, AL. Mrs. Holley is survived by two sons; Michael (Wife Dee Dee) Holley of Tallahassee, FL, and Austin Holley of Tallahassee, FL; two daughters; Linda Walker and Peggy (Husband Dale) Ellis of Bainbridge, GA; four sisters; Virginia Kennedy of Cairo, GA, Ruby Swiggard of Cairo, GA, Gwen Battles of Bainbridge, GA, and Betty Brim of Tallahassee, FL; four brothers; Sydney Brooks of Albany, GA, Jimmy Brooks of Crawfordville, FL, Buck Brooks of San Mateo, CA, and Billy Brooks of Crawfordville, FL; six grandchildren; Charles Walker, Heather Holley, Jennifer Metcalf, Diane Ashburn, Ashley Glass, and Fred Walker, Jr.; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Austin Cheshire Holley, and her sister Dorothy Green.
