Mrs. Brenda Sue Palmer Martin Brenda Sue Palmer Martin died suddenly at her home in Lakeland, Florida, Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Services will be graveside, 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2011, at El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Whigham, Georgia. The Rev. Bob Knight, officiating. Brenda Sue Palmer was born July 12, 1956, in Bartow, Florida, to Walden and Marie Gillis Palmer. The family moved to Grady County, Georgia when she was young and she lived there most of her life. Brenda loved the outdoors and loved to fish. She was crazy about NASCAR; especially number 14, Tony Stewart. She was a happy, generous person, who never met a stranger. She loved her family dearly, each and every one of them. One more thing, she never "bit her tongue" . Brenda Martin is survived by her spouse, Chuck DelColle of Lakeland, Florida; her children: Loretta Folsom and husband, Gary, Sheila Warren and husband, Brian, Gloria Brinson and husband, Todd, Betty Martin, and Lazarus Martin, Jr.; her ex-husband: Lazarus Martin, Sr.; grandchildren: Michael Hartley, Brittany Folsom, Brandon Warren, Libby Sparks and husband, Sid, Tatyana Brinson, Corie Brinson, Thomas Brinson, Layonnie Martin, Taleah Martin, Alana Martin, Alex Dunaway, Joshua Dunaway, Brenda Barnes, and Kystal Martin; great grandchild: Caden Sparks; sisters and brothers: Lois Lloyd, Frances Hoskins, Randy Palmer, Reggie Palmer, Teresa Hall and Stephanie Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Mary Catherine Music, and grandchildren, Dana Marie Hartley and Casey Lee Warren.
