Miss Brittany Barber, 22, of Valdosta, GA and formerly of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2007 at her residence in Valdosta, GA. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery near Brinson, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Miss Barber was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and a member of the National Honor Society. She served in the United States Air Force and was a student at Valdosta State University. She was of the Baptist faith. Brittany was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Pat Johnson. Survivors include her parents, Donald and Libby Barber of Bainbridge, GA, and Jana Johnson Wood of Hawkinsville, GA; paternal grandparents, Harold and Hildred Barber of Bainbridge, GA; and maternal grandfather, Herb Johnson of Hawkinsville, GA.
