Buddy Richardson

L.W. "Buddy" Richardson, 73, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at his residence. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. C Phil Tondee officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Bobby Palmer, Robert Stephens, Otis Dean, Don Harrison, George Grumbles, Bud Tillman, Donald Boyett and Bubba Jones serving as active pallbearers. Loyal Soldiers Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 21, 2008 from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Mr. Richardson was born August 22, 1934 in Moultrie, GA, the son of John Willie Richardson and Lula Joiner Richardson. He graduated from Moultrie High School in 1951 and was the owner of Decatur Pet Club. He was a former partner in Tillman Brothers Packing Company and a former member of the Decatur Roping Club. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
