Caleb Carlisle

Caleb L. Carlisle, 26, of Attapulgus, GA, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Carlisle and Rev. Russell Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Joshua Carlisle, Ryan Carlisle, T. J. Carlisle, Jason Hayes, Chris Hines, Justin Pope and Timmy White serving as active pallbearers. Caleb was born April 10, 1984 in Albany, GA. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 2002, where he played in the band and served in the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bainbridge and was an avid golfer. Caleb was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dennis and Louvenia Carlisle; his maternal grandfather, W. J. Duke; his uncle, Jerry Carlisle; his aunt, Kim Duke; and a cousin, Baby Clay. Survivors include his wife, Samantha Ann Carlisle; his son, Caleb Daxton Carlisle; his parents, Mickey and Angela Carlisle; his brother, Joshua M. Carlisle and Tina McKinney; his niece, Teagan LeighAnne Carlisle, all of Attapulgus, GA; his maternal grandmother, Elaine Tipton Duke of Bainbridge, GA; his paternal grandparents, Rev. Ira and Millicent Carlisle of Leesburg, GA; his uncles, Jimmy Duke and fiancée Jessica, Clay Duke, Eric Duke, Keith Duke and his companion Susan, Russell Carlisle and his wife Teresa and Tommy Carlisle and his wife Elise; his aunts, Beverly Duke Knight and her husband Bill, Audrey Carlisle, Janice Deal and her husband Eddie and Trudy Watson and her husband Keith; and his cousins, Michelle, Misty, P. J., Jarred, Kristina, Jesse, Beth, Claire, Amanda, Christopher, Jeremy, Andrew, Lauren, Travis, Tyler, Erik, Ryan, Crystal, T. J., Raymond, Dennis, Kimberly, Kristy; and numerous in-laws and friends.
