Calista Martin Napier, 93, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at Southwest Baptist Church with Brother Kevin Ford and Brother Andy Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Kevin Ford, Caleb Ford, Andy Fowler, Mark Esquivel, Mark Parker, Frank Williams, Joe Morrison and Buddy Davis serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Napier was born May 11, 1917 in Cedar Springs, GA, the daughter of Dessie Eugene Martin and Susie Stephens Martin. She was a graduate of Jakin High School and worked with Cannon's Cleaners for many years. Mrs. Napier was a member of Southwest Baptist Church and the Southwest Georgia Hemerocallis Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Caleb R. "Koon" Napier. Survivors include her son, David Napier and his wife Nina Faye of Donalsonville, GA; her daughters, Martha Fowler of Bainbridge, GA, and Evelyn Faircloth of Bainbridge, GA; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
