Callie Forehand Farrow, 85, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 in San Diego, CA. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating and will conclude at the church. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Mrs. Farrow was born September 24, 1927 in Barnesville, GA, the daughter of Marcus Forehand and Blanche Elizabeth King Forehand. She was a graduate of Whigham High School and was a church secretary for Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her son Irvin C. Farrow, Jr. and his wife, Rosario, of Poway, CA; her sisters, Henrietta Eubanks of Havana, FL, Mary Poitevint of Faceville, GA, Dorothy Turner of Tallahassee, FL, Loette Buerger of Duncan, OK, and Emily Hickey of Marion, IL; her brother, Rev. Hilton Gillespie and his wife, Chris, of Albany, GA; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Gillespie of Columbus, GA, Florence Gillespie of Attapulgus, GA, and Sheila Edwards of Centerville, GA; her grandchildren, Jason Farrow and Callie Farrow; and 3 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Farrow was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Carl Farrow.
