Calvin Johnson

Calvin L. Johnson, age 82, passed away early on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, in Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Seminole County, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24. Calvin L. Johnson was born April 15, 1939, in Donalsonville, Georgia. His parents, William Oscar Johnson and Mandy Irene Lynn Johnson have preceded him in death. Calvin was born with special needs. He loved to be outside and spent hours playing in the dirt with his toys. He loved fire trucks and ambulances. Animals of all types brought a smile to Calvin. Calvin loved his family and was loved deeply in return. Calvin L. Johnson is survived by his brother, Allen Johnson, Sr. of Bainbridge; his niece and nephews, Dianne Toliver of Bainbridge, Allen Johnson, Jr. of Miller County, Georgia, Stevie Johnson of Covington, Georgia, and Matthew Shawn Johnson of Bainbridge; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
