Cameron Cogland

Mr. Cameron Hunter Cogland, age 22 of Blakely, Georgia, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. A Celebration to honor Cameron will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at New Hope Baptist Church, 3832 US-27, Blakely, Georgia 38923. The Revs. Slade Alday and Jordan Arline will officiate. Cameron was born in Camilla, Georgia March 15, 2000. He was a 2018 graduate of Seminole County High School. Cameron loved everything outdoors whether tubing, hunting, or camping. He loved his old Scottsdale truck. A motorcycle rider, he was a member of the Dough Boys Rider Club. Cameron so deeply loved his family. Thanks to a web-journal concerning his illness written by his mother he has many, many friends worldwide. What a gift Cameron has been to so many. He will be greatly missed by his family and many, many friends. Cameron is survived by his parents, Deana Smith and Billy Cogland; siblings, Rielly Cogland, Steven Dismuke, Tonia Cogland, and Ashleigh Beebe, along with his 2 nieces; his girlfriend Angel Barlow; uncles and aunts, Russel and Robin Hunter, Terry Cogland, and Mark Cogland; grandparents, Malvin and Linda Godwin; along with many cousins and other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lorene Smith Brown and Vernon Ward Smith and Stacy Dismuke (Maymay).
