August 23, 1942 — February 5, 2022

Mr. Carl Adron Sapp, 79, passed away at his home following an extended illness with his family. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Phillip Kirkland of Donalsonville Church of God will officiate. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Mr. Sapp, a native of Climax, Georgia, was born on Saturday, August 23, 1942, the son of the late Levie Carson Sapp and Frances Strickland Sapp. Carl proudly served our country in the United States Army. His heart was full when surrounded by family. He enjoyed making his family laugh and smile all the time. He also enjoyed his tractor, farming, fishing, and hunting. He retired from the Georgia Power Company as a "Lineman" where he worked many hours and days. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Sapp, daughters; Carla Sapp of Snellville, GA, Tabitha Collins (Bradley) of Coral Springs, Florida, Chelsea Beasley (John) of Climax, Jessica Lambert (Matt) of Climax; sons, Chris Sapp (Vivian) of Cairo, Aaron Pearson of Climax, Marty "Bubba" Sanders of Bainbridge. sisters, Denice Barrett of Adel, GA, Phyllis Collins of Bainbridge, GA, and a brother Dale Sapp of Virginia. Grandchildren include Caylee, William, Carson, Adron, Laurel, Dixie, Matthew, Cole, Emery,Emma and Leastyn. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com .
