Carol Rosenquest Willis, age 85, of Bainbridge, Georgia and Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away on March 10, 2026, in Panama City Beach. Graveside services for Mrs. Willis will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, March 12, 2026, graveside at Greenshade Cemetery in Decatur County, Georgia. Rev. David Grubbs will officiate.
Carol was born in Strattanville, Pennsylvania on February 19, 1941 to her parents Charles William Rosenquest and Marion Beveridge Rosenquest. She grew up in this community with her siblings. She attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania and was known as being a savvy businesswoman who worked very hard. Carol loved to travel abroad as well as within the United States. Living at the beach and spending time with her fur baby, “Missy”, helped her to enjoy her beautiful view of the beaches of Panama City Beach and the waters of the Gulf. What made her happiest was spending time with her family and being “Gigi” to her precious grandchildren.
Mrs. Willis is survived by her husband, Lofton Willis, of Bainbridge, her daughter, Cheryl Gwin of Panama City Beach; her granddaughter, Krissy Gwin, and her great-grandchildren, Paige and Gauge Hurst all of Tallahassee. She is also survived by her sister, Roberta “Bobbi” Badger of Florida; her brother, Darl “Butch” Rosenquest and wife, Carolyn, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her sisters-in-law, Darla Rosenquest and Donna Rosenquest both of Pennsylvania; her very special friend, Ritchey McMahn and her family as well as her many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers, David “Dave” Rosenquest and C. William “Bill” Rosenquest.
