Carolyn W. Kelley, 70, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Port City Church of God with Pastor Jimmy Walden and Mr. Joe Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Blake Kelley, Kyle Kelley, Bryce Kelley, Zack Griffin, Al Kale, Jr., and Kim Rentz serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Kelley was born May 19, 1943 in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of George Carlton "Dykes" Wells and Thelma Vann Wells. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School and was a dedicated homemaker. Mrs. Kelley was a devoted member of Unity Church of God. Survivors include her sons, Stuart Kelley and his wife, Cindy, of Bainbridge, GA, Brad Kelley and his wife, Pam, of Bainbridge, GA, and Chris Kelley and his wife, Lisa, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Debra Phillips and her husband, Robbie, of Tallahassee, FL; her grandchildren, Blake Kelley, Brittany and her husband, Al Kale, Jr., Kyle Kelley and his fiancé Katie Trice, Brooke Griffin and her husband, Zack, Kelsey Kelley, Megan Kelley, and Bryce Kelley; and great-grandson, Charlie Griffin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dempsey Hubert Kelley; and her siblings, Jeanette Rentz and Max Wells. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her devoted caretakers, Edie Bridges and Amber Cantley.
